Tungsten Disulfide is inert, non-toxic, and non-corrosive. Tungsten Disulfide is USP class VI approved.

USP Class VI Approved

USP Class VI is the gold standard for medical-grade raw materials. Tungsten Disulfide passed USP Class VI standards. It exhibited a very low level of toxicity by passing all of the tests requirements. All procedures performed by a third party where certified to ISO 13485:2003

Tungsten Disulfide is RoHS and REACH compliant and meets all current directives and updates. WS2 meets 2011/65/EU and 2002/95/EC furthermore it is classified as inert, non-toxic and approved by the FDA for use in food processing and pharmaceuticals manufacturing. WS2 has been tested by North American Laboratories and determined it to be non-cytotoxic.
