Tungsten Disulfide is a metal made of one atom of tungsten and two atoms of sulfur. WS₂ is primarily use as a solid lubricant.

Tungsten disulfide has a similar coefficient of friction to molybdenum disulfide but tungsten disulifde is does not require binders and can be put on a lot thinner.

Tungsten disulfide is applied to substrate through impingement with high velocity compressed air.

Tungsten Disulfide is non-toxic, inert and USP class VI approved.

Tungsten Disulfide was made for vacuum environments aerospace applications. WS₂ does not expand or contract with temperature or pressure and is LOX compatible.
