Inert, Non-Toxic, Non-Migrating Dry Film Lubricant

USP Class VI Approved

USP Class VI is the gold standard for medical-grade raw materials. Tungsten Disulfide passed USP Class VI standards. It exhibited a very low level of toxicity by passing all of the tests requirements. All procedures performed by a third party where certified to ISO 13485:2003

Clean Room Applications

Tungsten Disulfide is ideal for clean room applications that absolutely need to remain dry. Tungsten Disulfide is inert, non-toxic and non-corrosive which makes it perfect for when migrating substances can't be risked. WS2 has been used on a variety of medical and dental components such as surgical instruments, MRI and diagnostic equipment. Gamma radiation and ethylene oxide will not affect tungsten disulfide.

Medical Grade Mold Release

Tungsten Disulfide can be used as a safe, inert mold release coating. Many medical injection molders run their molds without any mold release because of concerns that it will contaminate the final product. This can cause slower cycle times and excessive wear on the mold. A WS2 coating can easily improve efficiency.
